Your perspective is highly dependent … upon Depends adult diapers

August 15th, 2014

Depends adult diapers’cause wearing a different kind of underwear is no big deal.’

I love this Depends (adult diaper) commercial.

It helps to reduce stigma.

It’s perspective enhancing & illuminating.

And who among us can’t use some more light?

Need another take on creative gardening?  Or better yet learn a unique way of resolving a problem?  Read on.

An old gentleman lived alone in Kent.  He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very difficult work, as the ground was hard.

His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison.  The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:

Dear Vincent,
I am feeling pretty sad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot.  I know if you were here my troubles would be over. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like in the old days.
Love, Papa.

A few days later he received a letter from his son.

Dear Dad,
Don’t dig up that garden. That’s where the bodies are buried . . ..
Love, Vinnie

At 4 a.m. the next morning, Scotland Yard Detectives, Forensic dept. and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies.  They apologized to the old man and left.

That same day the old man received another letter from his son.

Dear Dad,
Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now.  That’s the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love you, Vinnie

The “Fast Food” restaurant is convenient for a quick meal, but I seriously doubt they will ever catch on.

Oh how perspectives can change.

Just as looking through the lens of a Head Life Lens™ radically alters the view of a Heart Life Lens™ (& vice versa), so does the perspective changing effects of time.

I wonder what we take for granted as ‘true’ today will be radically changed by the passage of time tomorrow.

Brilliant (& funny) perspective from Wanda Sykes- comparing being black to being gay

I’m not black.  And I’m not gay.

I’ve never had to ‘come out’ to my family or friends about my sexual orientation.  And I’ve never experienced what it’s like to be judged (negatively) based on the colour of my skin.

Which is all the more reason this hilarious video of Wanda Sykes is so clever.  It uses one form of oppression to educate about another, all the while illuminating & educating.

It’s relatable.  It’s funny.  It’s definitely worth the watch.
